What we do
Numbverify is a temporary SMS number service. Customers rent a short-lived phone number, receive an inbound verification message, and copy the code needed to complete a legitimate account or testing workflow.
We intentionally keep the experience narrow: select a country and service, fund a wallet, rent a number, wait for the SMS, and leave with the code. United States is selected by default because that is the most common starting point for many of our users.
How the product is structured
Behind the interface, number supply and SMS delivery are handled through telecommunications activation partners. Numbverify owns the customer experience: accounts, wallets, order history, pricing presentation, support, and policies.
- Accounts — secure sign-in, profile management, and password recovery.
- Wallet — Add Funds through supported payment providers, then spend balance on number orders.
- Orders — transparent status from reservation through SMS receipt or cancellation.
- Pricing — live Naira prices on Rent Number before you confirm, charged from your wallet.

Verification should not feel like a dense operator console. We prefer one clear action at a time, readable status, and honest messaging when inventory, delivery, or balance is unavailable.
Control and accountability
Orders, payments, and refunds are recorded in our systems. That lets us investigate delivery issues, apply wallet adjustments where appropriate, and keep an audit trail for support.
Lawful use only
Temporary numbers are useful for QA, privacy-conscious account setup where permitted, and similar legitimate workflows. They are not a tool for fraud, spam, impersonation, account takeover, or evasion of sanctions and platform rules. We enforce acceptable-use standards and may suspend accounts that violate them.
